Editorial Structure
GWUR divides its editorial work into three primary categories, each overseen by a Lead Editor and supported by a team of 4 Section Editors:
Humanities
– Includes literature, history, philosophy, languages, visual/media studies and cultural analysis.
– Focuses on argument strength, clarity of interpretation and use of evidence.
Social Sciences
– Includes psychology, political science, sociology, economics, international affairs and education.
– Emphasizes methodology, data interpretation and theoretical framing.
Natural & Applied Sciences
– Includes biology, chemistry, engineering, environmental science and public health.
– Focuses on research design, data accuracy and replicability.
Each paper is reviewed within the category most relevant to its subject area, though interdisciplinary submissions are welcome and may be co-reviewed by editors from multiple sections.
